Women’s Clothing and Outfit Ideas for 2023 Music Festivals

1. Favor Comfort Over ... Everything

We're not saying you shouldn't look cute AF when you plan your festival outfits, but above all else, prioritize comfort. After all, you'll be outdoors for 8 to 10 hours, walking 5 to 10 miles, and exposed to the sun for much of that time.

Comfort starts with your feet. Save your platforms, heels, strappy sandals and wedges for the club. Music festivals call for sneakers, flats, flat sandals, Chuck Taylors, or anything with good support. Plan footwear for hours of dancing and miles of walking!

2. Protect Your Skin, Lips & Eyes

4. Dress in Layers

Three-day music festivals in the desert can see temperatures that range 20 degrees or more over 24 hours. Dress in layers.

A cute mini dress paired with leggings can take you from chilly mornings to balmy afternoons. Wear the leggings in the morning and after the sun goes down, to help keep you warm. Take them off and tuck them in your backpack during the day (don't forget sunscreen!).

The jumpsuit might not be the best choice for a music festival, for one practical reason: One-piece jumpers can be impractical when you have to go to the bathroom! Instead, consider a two-piece matching or coordinated track set.
