What Is The New Jean Trend? Trendy Jeans for Men and Women

Looking to update your denim look? You're in the right place. Rockstar Original's L.A.-based designers are ahead of the curve when it comes to jeans for men and women. Here's what is trending in jeans for men and women.

Denim Trend #1: Super Stacked Pants

This new jeans trend started in the early 2020s and has evolved from stacked to super stacked. Stacked jeans are slightly flared at the bottom, similar to boot-cut denim, and made deliberately long, so the extra material stacks above the shoe. The more folds, the more dope the look.

Denim Trend #2: Grey Denim

Grey is the new black. Streetwear-loving men and women are loving these jeans in light and dark shades of grey. Check out RSO's split-seam jeans in grey, along with stacked denim pants.

Denim Trend #3: Cargo Pants with Oversized Pockets

One of our favorite trends in jeans is the cargo pant with oversized pockets. RSO's designers have exceeded expectations, delivering innovative looks for the urban hype beast and fashionista.

Guys: Check out the mixed-pattern cargo jeans for men with camouflage, light blue denim, khaki denim and distressed denim. Note the oversized utility pockets, fit for carrying smartphones, wallets and whatever else you need.

Ladies: You will love love love the cute cargo jeans, featuring a variety of fits. Look for high-waist, flare-leg cargo jeans, ripped jeans (very trendy!), and a variety of modern colors.

Denim Trend #4: Open-Hem Jeans

The fourth current jeans trend we're highlighting is called open-hem jeans. Some stylists refer to this look as a deconstructed hem.

You'll find two types of open-hem jeans in streetwear clothing. The first is hemless jeans, where the denim fabric was never stitched and was intentionally left frayed at the hem. 

In the second type of open-hem, the stylists remove existing hems, leaving traces from the folds, as well as remnants from the stitching. This look is extremely popular with urban men's jeans, adding to the frayed look that is in high demand. You'll see the open-hem jeans in all of the previous trends -- stacked denim, cargo jeans, and, of course, many shades of grey!

Denim Trend #5: Graffiti

Graffiti is synonymous with urban style trends. It's an art form that young men and women have used for decades to express themselves, their frustrations and even their rebellion.
